Killing myself laughing

So I have begun to type up the transcript for the first half of End of Time (which, so far, is sooo much easier than Waters of Mars was) and I was doing some research into Claire Bloom, who plays the mysterious woman Wilf talks to/hears from.

I checked her on IMDB.

She appeared in Limelight, the Charlie Chaplin film that was shot in 1951.

Which was the same film that, in The Next Doctor and Donna, Donna wanted to go and see. Except they ended up in 1851 instead.

I'm sorry, but how freaky is that?!

FILK TOMORROW!!

Title: The Two Doctors and Donna
Author: [info]katherine_b
Rating: Intention: Fun
Summary: Having rewritten three special episodes, I thought it was time I tackled some classic!Who. This isn’t it…
Word Count: approx 5,000 words
Characters: Ten, Eleven, Donna Noble and a big mix-up…
A/N: Okay, so this isn’t serious (even if we might want it to be). This started off not being serious. However then Ten turned up and he is, as [info]drakochi has now labelled him, an ‘angst maniac,’ so it got quite a bit more serious. What it still isn’t is in any way based on anything that could happen after The End of Time. It is, however, a sequel-of-sorts to my version of The Waters of Mars, but with Donna in it. Any references to things that may occur in The End of Time are purely my own supposition.

Oh, and tissues. Just to warn you ahead of time…

Title: The Anticipation Might Just Kill Him
Author: [info]katherine_b
Rating: G
Summary: The Doctor is on the hunt.
Word Count: 2,000 words
Characters: Ten, Donna
A/N: Written for [info]ageless_aislynn, who asked for: "Ten/Donna (naturally ;) ), Christmas presents. Which is a none-too-original Christmas prompt, huh? *giggles* I always love the shippiness but friendshippy is also fine with me if that's the way the muse wants to run. :D"
A/N: Because I won’t get time to write a separate one, I’m also going to make use of this for the thirty-seventh weekly drabble challenge which has to have a Christmassy prompt. And I fail yet again at actually writing a drabble…

The Doctor is looking for his Christmas present from Donna.

A very merry Christmas to all of my flist! I hope you all had/are having/will have a lovely day. Very shortly, I shall go off and begin to roast the lovely piece of lamb I bought for myself, but first I thought I would share with you how gorgeously generous Santa has been to me this year.

Lots of lovely pictures here! )

All in all, a very respectable haul indeed! I am much pleased! I have also giggled myself silly over David Tennant on Qi and am now looking forward to The End of Time...

Hey Folks -

it seems we have more writing staff members from Eureka on Twitter now - Paula Yoo (@paulayoo), Ed Fowler (@edfowler) & Kira Snyder (@sugarjonez). Paula is the other new exec producer, I believe.

I asked Amy Berg about the languishing writers' blog and her response was that it would be moving (probably to Wordpress) and relaunching on Jan. 5.

She's good about answering questions on Twitter, so look her up - she's @bergopolis.
